This took me a long time to read. I don't read short stories or compilations of novellas very often. I get very into a story/ world, etc. and don't want to leave it. I devour everything in it and can't put it down. Trilogies/ series that I enjoy leave me wanting more. Which is why I picked this book up. I knew it had a Dresden Files story in it that is supposed to take place before the newest book. It was the first one and I powered through it rather quickly. And then it took me forever to decide to even start the Simon R. Green story. And it took me a while to read it. I was unimpressed. It was OK, but nothing amazing that made me want to read more of his stuff. The other 2 stories were actually pretty good and I would pick up other books by these authors. But this is just a good example of why I don't like to read compilations of short stories or novellas.
